CERTIFICATION FSSC 22000
Achieved in the month of January 2019, from the authoritative Organization DNV-GL, the FSSC 22000 certification - Food Safety System Certification - represents a powerful international framework of reference for the management system of food safety, an effective identification methodology of hazards (hazard analysis) and risk management based on HACCP principles, able to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness in the field of food safety. The FSSC 22000 certification, being internationally recognized by the GFSI - Global Food Safety Initiative - allows Fugar to obtain international acknowledgment as a reliable supplier, demonstrating its own credentials.
PLANT BASED CERTIFICATION
Obtained in December 2022, the Plant Based certification represents Fugar’s latest ambitious goal, as a response to an ever-increasing demand for plant-based products, requested by vegetarian, vegan or simply consumers who choose this type of diet.
The decision to undertake a certification process by a highly accredited external body - Bioagricert – was dictated by the desire to offer our customers the possibility of purchasing products obtained with safety and guarantee without the use and contamination of any ingredient/ adjuvant/auxiliary of animal origin and which does not derive from genetically modified organisms (Reg. EC 1829/03).
HALAL CERTIFICATION
Obtained in August 2013, with Halal Italia certification in line with Shari’a law.
Halal certification is not only the result of months of research and development, but above all demonstrates our desire to learn and understand our clients culture, as well as our constant commitment to meeting their needs.

ORGANIC
Keeping up with the trends and in line with the values of Quality, Constant Improvement and Transparency, Fugar wanted to enrich its already wide range of products with a whole organic line. Our R&D Department carries out a daily selection on suppliers, incoming raw materials supplies and acts in order to guarantee our customers the best qualitative standard possible. Our organic range of products is guaranteed, controlled and certified by CCPB (Association for the Control of Organic Products), an association able to control and certificate, licensed by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Forest and Food Policies.
